Humidifier - is an essential part of a life support machine, this humidifies a mixture of oxygen and air bring delivered by ventilator to the child and prevents secretions in the child’s lungs from becoming sticky with the danger of blocking the small airways in the lungs. Cost £1,200



 Syringe pump:  are used to accurately deliver drugs to critically ill children on PICU, these include pain killers and sedatives, drugs to stimulate the heart to maintain blood pressure and other heart stabilizing medication. Cost £1,200



Life Support Machine – we are raising funds to purchase a new life support machine (infant ventilator). This will be used to treat critically ill babies and infants following open heart surgery and other children with breathing problems. The new machine costs in the region of £22,000
